Christmas in the Mountains

Phil and I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day here in Charlotte, which was kind of a nice change from the usual running around. We got to go to Christmas Eve service at our church, and just relax for a couple of days.

The weekend after Christmas, we went up to the mountains to celebrate with Erin's extended family. Jason and Becky and Emma came from Baltimore, but we did manage to take pictures of people other than Emma this trip :) Don't worry, she's still in a few!

Erin's cousin Corbin turned 16 on Christmas Day, so a birthday cake was a part of the celebration this year:

Corbin and his sister, Bower, got a Wii for Christmas, and that ended up being just about the only thing we did all weekend long. Here's Jason and Corbin trying their hand at Rock Band:
Emma and her daddy:
We tried to decorate Emma, but she seemed a little confused:

We had a great time, and it was too hard to narrow down all of the pictures. After the mountains, we headed to Greensboro to see the rest of Erin's family. All in all, it was a good holiday. We look forward to spending next Christmas in NY- maybe we'll see some snow!! :)
